Home Care Treatments and Procedures..

Receiving treatments or procedures at home provides your loved one with the opportunity to recover in the comfort of his or her own home.
We understand that it may be difficult to arrange for transport to the clinic and, sometimes, the trip may wear out your loved one, especially when they are frail or unwell, worsening their condition.

The following are some common home treatments and procedures our bedside nurses provide for your loved one.

Our Nurses are capable of administering the following;

  • Home intravenous (IV) therapy
Home IV treatment can be administered at home so your loved one may receive IV medicine without being hospitalized. We will provide and set up the IV equipment and consumables at your home.

  • Wound care
Our bedside nurse conducts home visits to assess, dress and manage wounds and pressure sores.

  • Nasogastric tube
Nasogastric tube can be inserted at home by our bedside nurses and checked to confirm that the position is correct.

  • TPN
Our bedside nurses can administer Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) at home including preparing the TPN solution, setting up the TPN infusion pump and dressing the Central Venous Catheter (CVC).

  • PICC line
Our nurses can administer IV antibiotics, nutrition, medications or chemotherapy and draw blood via the peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC line) at home.

  • Chemotherapy
Our oncology bedside nurse can administer chemotherapy via the infusion pumps at home.

  • Suctioning
Our bedside nurses can perform tip suctioning and deep suctioning. We are able to provide suction machine rental if you require.

  • Injections
If you require intramuscular (IM) injection, our bedside nurses are able to administer it for you.
